Francesca Marie

Bird Of A Feather

The nest of jagged shape in the tree;
Egg on a prickly, unbreakable branch.

The baby of his youth in the finish;
Feet on an extraordinary, daunting edge.

The bird of abundant freedom in the sky;
Wings on an exhilarating, novel voyage.

Broken Glass

Life is like glass in so many ways.
Keep it shiny and unbroken all through the days.
Glass can be new.
Glass can be old.
It doesn't matter whats told.
Every piece of glass can shine like gold.
Sometimes glass is shiny.
Some can be plain.
It's all-unique show your true style.
You have nothing to lose and all to gain.
Enjoy the sparkle of the glass because once its broken you can never piece it back.

Heartbeats Skip, Love-Struck Daughers Wait

Heartbeats skip, love-struck daughters wait,
For their infatuations to arrive.
Heartbeats skip, love-struck daughters wait,
The atmosphere oozing a vivacious vibe.
Heartbeat skip, love-stuck daughters wait,

Lights dim, daughters gather like a tribe.
Heartbeats skip, love-struck daughters wait,
The music starts, the feeling hard to describe.
Heartbeats skip, love stuck daughters wait.
With pulsating sounds, the night becomes alive!

When I

When I see your smile it brightens my whole day.
when I hear your voice all the stress I carry melts away.
when I'm talking to you its like the whole world stops.
All that matters is your talking to me.
will the butterflies ever stop?
I picked out a song and too many quotes to count.
Daydreaming in class of what we could be.
I hope you open your eyes and see what a beautiful thing this could be.
I tell myself your not worth it but you find your way into my heart and mind.

Amazing, Special, Wonderful, Perfect, and Genuine!

Last night I thought of you….again
Will this cycle ever end?
The same question always making its way into my brain, could we ever be together.
Believe me I have tried to reject these feelings: buzz -like glee, gut wrenching necessity and hunger, confusion, anger, and depression.
How can one human being make someone feel such a wide variety of emotions?
I keep trying to convince myself that you're an ordinary boy, but the truth is you're amazing, special, wonderful, perfect and genuine!

Not Your Doormat!

I'm not your doormat; I'm so much more than that.
I'm not your doormat; I deserve so much more respect than that.
I'm not your doormat; I'm so much stronger than that.
I'm not your doormat and I'm most certainly not your slave.
I'm not your doormat; I'm a human being.
I'm not your doormat; a dog to call when you too lazy to do it yourself.
You may think I'm weak but inside of me is a warrior that is stronger than you thought possible.
One day I will have the power to say no and stop kissing the feet of the idiots that constantly kick me.
Working my butt off and getting nothing in return I'm sick of it and refuse to stand for it any longer!
I'm not your doormat; a place to wipe your dirt on.

Prisoner on Trial

Who are you to judge me on whom I really am?
Who are you to decide my life journey?
What gives you right to know what's best for me?
What gives you the authority to decide what I am and am not capable of doing?
Most certainly not you! You live your life and I will live mine.
I'm tired of feeling like a prisoner on trial.
Giving the jury the power to decide my fate.
Feeling like I'm guilty for every little move that I make.
Always scared to go against the jury's verdict.
Feeling like my life I'm living is not my own.
Always responding the way people expect me too.
Even if it goes against what I believe.
All I want to is break free of these chains and live my life without every move being examined through a microscope.

A Possession

The media portrays flawless perfection,
Perfection, impossible to obtain causing an outcry of objections.
"Flawed" faces, the panic of rejection,
The media dispersing its festering message, left to spread like an untreated malignance infection.
It grows and grows until it controls the way we see our complexion,
The disease garbling of the mind, causing kit-picking and dissection.
At a fresh age we are septic to ingestion,
Ingesting the toxic lie that youth can be maintained by injections,
The noxious lie creating the basis for our future obsessions,
Until that fresh mind is so shot up with bullet wounds, the mind becomes a self-inflecting weapon,
A perilous repetitive phase begins as the foul transformation transpires, a possession!

Pain-Free

Teenage girl, seventeen years of age.
Tired of making stupid mistakes.
Tired of being put down.
All she wants to do is be happy.
And make her family proud.
She's locked herself in her room.
Her only safe haven.
Wondering what it would be like if she was never born.
Her mind a jumbled mess.
Tired of the constant scorn.
Tired of regret.
Tired of causing it on her family.
She looks at herself in the mirror.
And a stupid girl stares back at her.
Telling her: 'you're worthless all you do is cause pain, your ugly, annoying and weird you don't deserve to live! '
She sees the pills staring back at her.
Inviting her to be pain-free.
Telling her that all her pain and problems will go away.
She takes the pills and knows she will inflict no more pain on her family, friends, and herself.

Hello Silver Friend

A knife is a nonjudgmental friend.
A friend that I could always turn to in need.
Its welcoming shine, its sharp edge teases me, begs me
It whines begging on its handle 'Use me! Use me! I can take all your pain away! '
'I don't judge you; you can be yourself around me always.'
I want to succumb and allow my over welling emotions to pour out of me
I want to rid myself of this intense gilt, sadness, anger, worthlessness
Watch with childlike glee as my pain drips down my skin
What is skin really?
An immense vessel holding all our emotions and organs.
Sometimes the vessel needs to be punctured to release negative moods
Negative moods that push up against the vessel straining to escape
Hello silver friend it's nice to see you again.
yours truly,
A worthless not mention failure of a daughter
