Starlight in my Tresses
*
They would appear it was close to the hour,
I waited holding my breath.
Millions I see the waves upon the sea,
To unfurl the view ahead.
The playful wind thumped on my shoulder,
Under their freezing touch I shivered.
They Came, stars in herds;
Showers of silver, descending on the water.
I step into the water, in
My tiny hands to gather, silver dust
Sticking all over my dress as
I return with starlight in my tresses.
