Josephine's Thoughts on Cake

Give health
Never mind the wealth
A belly full of food
Pacifies the mood

Morality changes

Smouldering passion
Legacy to man’s fire
Unbridled now the fashion
Unlocks his burning desire

Just Nonsense - a bit of fun

In a parallel universe
Is everything in reverse?
Up could be down
A smile maybe a frown
In is out
Whispering a shout
Right is always wrong
Weakness comes on strong
Vegetables become meat
Sugar vile not sweet
Your daughter becomes your son
Oh, that is gay forgive the pun
Shopping all day, no night
Your new hairdo a real sight
Well maybe I will stay here or go there
I’m confused, as I’m a pair
Reversing everything’s roles
Switching of the poles

Fates fickle hand

I have missed so many years of your life, but I know fate did not have us set to collide until it was ready

Most people place demands on relationships that are impossible,
making it impossible.

Love is but a moment in time, which only lovers can extend to fill their lives as long as they want it too

You have invited me in as I am, and that alone leaves me awestruck at times

Eventually you did collide with my heart

Love found its place amongst debris that was there

Sweeping away the dross, making a clean start in which to flourish

Fate has at last taken my hand and said now is the time

Swimming Blubber

Spinning away
Diving, turning in play
Chasing fish to eat today
One intake of breath and dive away
Beneath the polar ice cap
Twisting and turning no mishap
Small fish try to hide away
It is hide and seek we play
With a layer of blubber, the cold is fine
Up onto the ice I need to climb
Laying up in large groups easy to detect
Those at the edges, hard to protect
Our babies look like white fur balls
Easy prey when the Skewer calls
Hunted by killer whales is no fun
We dive and spin to outrun
They really love to eat us Seal
We make them a decent meal
There are many in our species all around
North Pole to Antarctica our living ground

My Perfect Beauty

Beauty, real beauty is beneath the skin
With the love that is shown and freely given
Given to a lover, also humanity
A heart offered without any charge
For all those whose heart is crippled with grief
Joy and happiness shown to all humankind
By the soul which embraces life
Even an odd tear that slips out with emotion
At others losses and despair
Character with unswerving morals
Which respects, even those with none
Most importantly compassion
To the broken and weary souls
This, is the beauty I sought
Not the outer, unblemished skin
Nor the golden locks that flow like rivers
Sylph like figures did not figure in the equation
Finding my beauty, I am never letting her go

For the Hillsborough Lost

On Hillsborough’s field this day they fell
Ninety six life extinguished in this shackled hell
Young and old, it did not matter
Families dreams this tragedy did shatter
Crushed against barriers of steel
For them those bells mourn and peal
Football lost its life that day
On this day by the thousands they pray
Mourning the loss twenty years on
The memories so horrific, will never be gone
A carpet of flowers on this field they lay
In total remembrance of this day
Still the mothers of the lost despondently cry
Asking why, getting no real reply
Barriers now rejected
Safety no more to be neglected
Liverpool will never forget
One football match, filled with regret

Take Courage

Are we at opposite sides?
Other sides of lovers’ street
Walking in opposite directions
Merely pausing resting for a moment
As the clock ticks do, we continue away
Watching each other fade into the distance
Too worried about wagging tongues
Maybe frightened of the past
Unsure about another commitment
Ghosts that have never left
Drawing apart what could be
Stop, think and walk back
Cross into the middle of destiny
Take hold with both hands
Grasp everything
Never letting go
Hold life by the throat
Squeezing out every dropp of pleasure
Take courage to ban the past
Courage to walk into an unknown future

Apple Pie mmmmm My Eye

Boy, this bed rattles bangs and squeaks
Your mother said was louder than the works hooter
I told your mom it was the computer geeks
They were fixing your computer

She asked who has left the empty condom packets
I told her, I used them as handle covers for my tennis racquets
By what I said, to her she was quite taken aback,
She thought my mind wandered on another track

What is the point of that she asked In Turn?
Her eyes glaring hard at me looking so stern
I once dropped them, in mom’s apple pie
As she looked knowingly, in my eye

All the banging kept us awake
I told her you were chasing a little snake
Her eyes burned right through my head
Snakes she said a snake wandering in the bed?

Feeling the Passion - Very Erotic you have been warned

Let me take you hold your body in my arms
Kissing those tender lips long and deep
Can you Feel my passion rise
Let us make love all through the night
Quickly decide, we must not waste a minute of time
Deftly remove all my clothes
Slowly I begin to caress your soft skin
My fingertips start to wander
Feeling the softness of you
Those tender breasts draw my fingers to them
Touching and stroking them
Covering your body with kisses
Over the curve of the breasts
Slowly reaching the nipples peak
Sucking with greedy abandon
The heat of our bodies rapidly rising
Breathing starts to increase
Panting harder wanting you now
Your body inviting
Moulding itself into mine
