Together Apart, One Night and Every

We wrap ourselves in neverspeak
our silence heightened by the night
to taste affections of the flesh
we meet again, we part,
them meet.
repeatedly till dawn reveals
the wrinkles of identity
then we resume our secret lives
we'll meet again, we'll part,
then meet.

An easy night The hardest day

Across a lonely room
inside a crowded bar
an aging gigolo
strumming on his guitar
He sees a girl he likes
they leave, he has his way
That's how an easy night
turns out to be
the hardest day
The emptiness is churning
inside his broken heart
another happy ending
that never had a start
His bed is always empty
the lovers never stay
because an easy night
turns out to be
the hardest day
