something always seems
to catch my eye,
like you quickly did
with that first 'hi'
honesty you explained
was number one
but you've lied
so should i be done
i don't really want
to play this game,
though i probably will
and thats a shame.
a decision, by you
has to be made
you can't expect
to just get laid
if you're in love
then you should stay
but if you're not in deep
then come my way

Something for someone new
I'm lying here thinking
about the way i feel
understanding we could build
something so real.
I envy the look resting
in the depths of your eyes
it speaks of honesty
instead of some lies
you make me understand
things i thought i knew
i'm so glad,
that i've met you
i'm glad that you, too, came
from an aweful past
'Cause maybe you'll help me
to move on at last
I hope that you feel
the same way i do
and that you want me
the same way i want you
