Enigma
Forever present
A symbol of sacrifice
The bearer of violence
Ah! yet
Like a mona lisa
Her smile still remains
frozen for eternity

Checkmate
death is monotonous
in this black and white domain
the king falls,
when the queen is taken
life then- no longer remainsdevilz agent

Lady Death
They question-
The existence of lady death again
The spectacular fools!
They cannont see that life is but a mere mirage
Visible in the desert of time
Guarding the entrance of her domain

The Well Of sorrows
Over the crumbling brick walled ledge
I peeked
Inside the well of sorrows
And thought i saw a spark
Of another kindered soul
But to my dismay
It was nothing but;
The reflection of my burning self

Reflection
If i were a mere reflection of myself
Would i see the scarred soul of my flawless face
The haunted look in those doe like eyes
The bitterness in that frozen smile
Or would i look the other way
And refuse to acknowledge
Me, myself and i

Trying
Treading in the stalkers domain
She lives
She feeds
And keeps on trying
With every step a scar to gain
She falls
She bleeds
And keeps on trying
The purchase of pride at the cost of pain
She cries
She pleads
And keeps on trying
Follwing a path of treacherous terrains
She struggles
She leads
And keeps in trying

Justice
Here I lie motionless, unperturbed
My lips still posed
From my last silent prayers
But breath no longer comes to me
And still I lie
And still I wait
For that last day
When justice will be in my hands
Then I will ask,
With the same detachedness
With which the action was committed
Why did I pay?
What did I do?

No More
I wrote my name on the seashore
The waves came and it was no more
I wrote my name in the air
The wind came and it was no more
I wrote my name in the sky
The clouds came and it was no more
I wrote my name in the puddles
The sun came and it was no more
i wrote my name in the dust
The rain came and it was no more
One day Gabriel wrote my name
and alas! i was no more

The Haunted Haven
Beyond the woods
The branching oak and canopy of leaves still abide
The bench is there
The leaves still fall
The cree still flows beneath the trees
The difference is
The oak is baren
The shiny bench is covered in moss
The leaves now lie beneath my feet
The place now lacks the presence of life
Though our laughter still echoes
Haunting the place of our childhood haven

Point of No Return
Like a blinded fool
I followed the silver gossamer
through twists and turns
and ups and downs
never letting it out of sight
the little thread that binded me
dazed and delighted me
i kept it close and held it tight
living in the dreams it fed
listening to the lies it told
watching every sight it showed
alas! to my dismay
the days grew long and nights turned cold
the dreams had faded
the lies now showed
the sights were gone
alone i stood and saw myself
trapped in a shiny gossamer web
