Fairy tales of
Vines and romance,
Written and spoken
Yesterday, today, tomorrow
On and on, like a
Merry go round

Tragic ending,
Happy ending,
It's all colorful

But some tales,
Are just not meant
to start at all

Wandering,
Ring wandering,
Round and round,
Until I'm found

I search and
lose myself,
eventually fading
out

Swirling the milk
with a spoon,
sooner or later
it's all blended
in a single cup

I'm lost but
I'm here
The place I stand
Is it my identity?

Undefined Importance

Who is the most important person,
When is the most important time,
A question that creates a loop on itself,
Quite intriguing, but never concrete,

Like rolling a die
With infinite sides,
It's a different answer
In a year or two

It only has one answer,
And most of us will get it wrong
Because none of us are truely living
The present, the Now, right this moment

Strip us of any labels,
Discard your position,
Stand up straight,
And open your eyes,

Through That Smile of Yours

Igniting a small
Spark of courage,
I glance at your face,
Capturing the image
Of your angelic face
Accented by the
Magnificent canvas
Of the sunset sky

Feeling my stare,
You glance my way,
A sudden heat
Travel up my face,
And I look away
With regret again,

Step, step, step,
We walk on without
Any words exchanged,
Missing the picture
