The Bond Between You And Me

Summer is here,
You can hear the kids cheer,
Yell and scream,
Even the football team,
School is long gone,
And so is the bond,
Between you and me,
It's hard to think about,
But harder to forget,
Easy to remember,
But even easier to cry remembering,
You left me heardbroken,
And no one's shoulder to cry on,
And by the way you left me on my deathbed,
Waiting on something, someone that will never be there.
