Sunday Life

Ironing
Bottles
Sewing
Shopping.
Feed ing
Cleaning
Floors for mopping.
Mundane chores
Of everyday life
No time to rest;
Though its Sunday night

But from these tasks
I won’t be baulking,
As while I work
To you I’m talking.
Discussing the points in a slice of toast.
The relative merits of watching “Coast”.
It matters not, for what matters to me
Is the sharing time with you; you see?
