Tender Cruelty

Your love is empty and without content
Your love is a pass through only given in the moment
You text me to see if I'll be okay
I'm in the next room and that is all you have to say
Your shallow sympathy is too much you shouldn't waste it on me
Painful it is to be loved by you and your tender cruelty
Oh what a fool I've been giving one hundred percent
Thinking you were my angel heaven sent
Now clarity has come and I can see
I'm amongst of the departed you leave to be carried away by the sea
