The Huntress

Oh the tantalizing tiger

You make me feel on fire

Why must you be so pretty and aloof

The huntress is just a big goof

The tiger is caught by another

Another, better suited I presume

To capture the tiger and keep as her own

And yet the huntress feels the tiger’s groan

How can it still be, that in the wild there could be

Goodbye to thy Tiger

Tiger, if you could be held in my arms,

Would you be kind or must it always bring harm?

I desired many things unsaid, if only the chance.

It has become more and more like a sacred dance.

Hoping and craving, just one sign.

Is it possible to become mine?

Why never one sign of the attraction?

Was it never there and it’s fabrication?

If only once, treasured for eternity,

And it’s unexplained why.
