The Wind's Journey

Winds blowing from the east
Transplanted scents into the west,
Wandered into jungles of concrete wall,
Struggling to fit in cranny nooks of tall
Structures, that hastens its journey through
Man-made woods – a jungle of towers blew
And drove the wind from western grey mist,
Back to the east, refresh and crisply blest,
While easterly mist touched the west wind
And blow forth again to trees and leaves of green
From east to the west its circular route dawdle
Wanting to re-touch thus lingered to mingle
Attempting to refine a wind made stale
By man’s rancorous ill will, east wind’s wail
The west wind wavered, intertwined forever
To retouch and refresh the earth’s dwindling fresh air

Be Not Afraid: You and Me

Make up your mind-complicated thought,
Which lane to take in a two way
Street ahead, Choose a path but one,
And if you've to catch up, you ought.

Your mind's confused when honesty's
In recluse, come walk my way
And let's reveal the truth - a walk of destiny
Hang on tightly to me...
And let us build a path to life's reality.

Be not afraid of who you are to me,
I in return will make the best I see
Of who you are sans your infirmity
Just build your mind a solid destiny.

Now can you see decision has to be
But just a step-your feelings are so free,
Remember who you are to many just like me
Decide with ease between what not to be,

Quantas Flight 149: Destination Sydney

Destiny established engine on the roar
Plane airborne jittery feelings re-born,
Flying Downunder two destinies disagree
One with feelings of certainty, the other an obscurity.

Eighteen hours flight memories in chain
Images rustling in and out my brain,
A question appeared an answer quickly vanished
Thin air blurry - images wanting to disagree.

Airborne memory trying to plea
Impossible to see denial hanging over me,
A waking call give up the other destiny
Land on certainty and forget the obscurity.

Awaiting tarmac - landing gears roll down
A new air - breath with easy mind,
Heart that pumps settle with a calm
Composure intact reality rides back.

Illusive Change, Yet For Whom

I'm tired of trying to bring about change and make a difference,
Maybe the world too is tired of fighting to bring about change,
But who will make the change if the world is tired as well.

Yet as men, we do have a part to reinstate the goodwill,
And for whom is the change? Will it be yours or theirs - once?
Me or you and them? If i try to make a change, is there a chance?

Maybe it won't be befitting into your own space,
And if you try to change it, will it include my life in it?
I'm tired of trying to change the world, because the change
That I want does not fit into other people's lives.

Somehow maybe there should be a compromise,
But compromise - it seems - has a hard time
Fitting itself into this world. So, how am I to find a change,
And be a part of a conflicting world that is suppose to be for you and
Me... A wish to just survive and live satisfactorily, but how...?

Recovered Heart and Mind

Recovered Heart and Mind
All is change; all yields its place and goes. (Euripedes)

I have thoughts of regrets - my long lost past
My heavy pain now white-feathered yet void of respite and disdain,
My mind and heart now wandering through wild sunflower fields
The memory of my misty past now glowing in my heart,
Like a sunflower's glow of the day - dried up the mist away.

And pain no longer hides behind my smiling eyes,
It left in grace and withered in the glow of the sunny day,
And so my heart that leant itself one time, unleashed its deadened
Dream and walked right back with confidence;
And reign again in my once contented heart and mind.

The elusive dreams I once embroidered over my heart
Now hustled back into my once confused - now sensible mind,
The new tomorrow that spun its way deep down into my heart
Embroidered itself deeper, this time a queen of heart. My once
Insensible and naive heart resolves to dance one music at a time.

Dreams Make the World Go 'Round

'Hope is a waking dream.' Aristotle

Hope is a dream - a survival of our inner thoughts,
Love is a hope that opens up our hearts,
A smile in our face that makes the love go round,
Your word and mine - its meaning well defined.

A dream woven in earnest honesty
A resolute of hope that love awaits for thee,
For we'll survive in hope that dreams gone by
A bridge connects our distance way up high.

The dream we make - a light shines in our eyes,
Connections made a way back in our present lives,
To think of us in dreams of hope impart
A promise persevered in the nook of our faithful heart.

Though dreams let go of love for now to explore,
The dream of love way back still strong and so secure,
For dreams survive in hope for love's stronghold
