Wind Walking
Searching for a friend,
Spirit walks in wind.
Many miles complete,
Without blistered feet.
On cloud cushioned air,
With much of life’s flare.
Two; many miles apart,
Wind carries each heart.
A road not so very rare,
To trek proud with care.
With each step we take,
A full circle we’ll make.
From truth doth splinter,
As spring begins winter,
Some peace, some strife,
Death begins with life.
With silver cord bound,
Fully off solid ground,
Walking the Sky Town,
True friendship is found.

Golden Yarns
Yarns we spin of old,
Makes the young bold.
They when hearing it,
Go in search of spirit,
Learn to chant and sing,
Doth timely rains bring.
Finding their inner soul,
And become really bold.
The old ways try and do,
Walk true the path anew,
Continually on the way,
Both at night and in day,
To search in any weather,
Bear claw; eagle feather;
Much pain; no tears cried;
To a new brave with pride.
The elders smile and nod.
On the good path to trod,
Much better than all gold,
Are the yarns spun of old.

Spark To Elder
Standing at the fireside,
The spark of life I eyed,
Flying into the night air.
Wind blowing her hair;
Boarding awaiting mare,
To ride without any care;
Into life’s clouds she slid,
A new life at desires bid.
An Ivory Palace enwalled;
No thoughts now recalled.
Tied by life’s silver cord,
To this worlds great hoard;
Not to live another’s will,
True to all things be real.
To sow whatever she may;
Reaping some future day,
With every action made,
Life’s debt she has paid.
Returning to the fireside;
Newest elder with pride!

Old Fire, New Flame
The fires flames had now burnt low,
The embers began to lose their glow,
Slightly warm ever-growing cold.
Soot through out the chimney old,
Smoke upward could hardly flow.
As after fuel no one choose to go.
Even with the sun shinning so bright,
Frost atop the roof remained white.
Laid to rest good use of minds eye.
From worldly sorrow heart did cry.
Peace and joy no longer remained.
The windows became tear stained.
Almost done the unwinding clock.
Almost unanswered was the knock,
Of someone special at hearts door.
Spirits embraced warming the core.
Kind words their effects now unfold,
On an old fire, like heaping new coal.
New friends, their love would acclaim,
Bringing to that old fire, a new flame!

Wisdom In Choices
In the dark secret area of my mind,
A deep still river I once again find,
Flowing over with past tears cried,
When my joyful spirit almost died.
If only to my elders I had listened,
Life’s remembrances would glisten,
Granny said wait, don’t rush time,
Your missing rib, GOD shall find.
Wish I had waited for a plain Jane,
A simple loving lady by any name,
My soul shook as she walked town,
I walked by not even turning around.
Too many bad choices were made,
Rushing unlearned into life’s arcade,
This young soul meet many a test,
Failing most or just passing at best.
Resting in GOD after worldly roam,
Resigned to live by myself, not alone,
Found Agape, for others I now care,
With everyone, GOD’s love I share.

Arise To Pray At First Ray
By my Tsalagi elders I was taught,
In Circle walk true or life’s naught,
In walking over the earths ground,
Seek the Lord early; He is found,
Rise early from your sleep to pray,
While the sun’s giving its first ray,
Find a special place quiet and still,
His Spirit brings a comforting chill,
Within stillness finding His words,
Thanking Him for singing of birds,
Thanking the Great Spirit for Light,
Since it makes us have perfect sight,
Pray for His blessings thru the day,
For His presence with you to stay,
His persona’s real; not just a fable,
Thankful for bread on days table,
Meditate as good words you speak,
Not permitting evil in life to sneak,
Praising Him you should ever sing,
Then only good shall the day bring!

Season's Unforgettable Reason
Many centuries past God sent his love,
To reunite us with His heaven above.
The flawless salvation, forever to last.
Mankind removes landmarks of past.
Christ, Love Incarnate, God’s Word.
Contemporary thinking, how absurd.
For years He’s coming it’s been said.
In the Messiah’s return, Faith’s dead.
Blinded by lies, Life turns a wreck.
Unbeknown by even the very elect.
Fully anti-Christ, even near treason.
Forgetting the reason for the season.
Not Jesus’ birthday, not a holy day.
Man wanting a Christ less holiday.
Where giving of love’s meant to be.
Greed is placed under a holiday tree.
World so full of anti Christ, Beware!
As false beliefs pop up every where.
Hearts love low, Full of hate and fear.
Could it be that end is drawing near?

True Joy Everlasting
Spelling out the word joy reveals,
A truth of how hurts turn to heals.
Let’s not self centered fret and pout,
Just follow commandment laid out.
“J” first and foremost, the beginning,
Just as Jesus is without any ending.
First in all we think or what is done,
One for all and truly all for the One.
“O” second in importance we see,
Putting others before me has to be.
Serving one another brings gladness,
Replacing worldly accrued sadness.
“Y” we see the very last of the three,
Last you must be to start eternal glee.
Selfishness brings heartache and pain,
But this path leads to Kingdom’s gain.
In great simplicity Wisdom cries out,
Yet there remains deafness all about.
Here joy has been spelled out for you,
Now you may receive or bid it adieu!

In Morning Light’s Glow
As from night’s rest I open my eyes,
Behold on horizon dawning sunrise.
Gazing over the lake’s rippled face,
Campfire smoke surrounds my place.
As dewy fog lifts upward into the air,
Enigmatically appearing, Maiden fair.
A beautiful picture comes to my sight,
In a glow of the morning’s fresh light.
With buckskin and lace she did dress,
Very rapidly to my canoe I did press.
Pushing without delay from the bank,
Swift and strong strokes I did crank.
Eyes truly fixed on her smile so fine,
Paddling toward her in a perfect line.
Within the calm wind she backed away,
She danced within it in mystical play.
Into some place of a clouded disguise,
Upward with day’s heat she would rise.
Her figure lucidly plain I still could see,
However only light refraction’s were to be.

Part 1-Inerasable Heart
While asleep, of loving you I did dream.
With vivid emotion, so real it did seem.
Startled I awoke and looked over to see,
If by chance you were lying beside me.
Fully awake I realized you were not there.
Depressed, I dressed to go for fresh air.
Many hours I aimlessly strolled around.
Arriving at our old high school in town.
Sought our pledge, I’ll love you always.
But time had eroded all of them away.
Years have passed with wind and rain.
Saddened I find nothing, not one stain.
Covered with dust of time in my mind,
Warm feelings for you I always find.
Uncle Sam greetings get ready for war,
Your help is needed in a country afar.
For my return you promised to wait,
Vowing to be my eternal soul mate.
What happened remains cloudy to me.
Finding you could solve this mystery.
