on a cold winter night
frost in the air
an angel is born
but it just isn`t fair
i know in my heart
you`ll always be near
but life without you
i just couldn`t bare
i want you to know

Life is better
I like to dream I like to think
Writing words I often heard
Lost minds are hard to find
Especially when your life`s in a bind
Drinking wine thinking i`m fine
Nothing to do but feel real blue
Then came a time when I met you
Felt as if you cured my flu
You held me together through stormy weather

open up your eyes
take a look inside
there`s no need to hide
I see you as a person
I want to stand beside
I will not judge
I will not hold a grudge
I would walk a mile
just to see your smile

in this life we take wrong turns
going left instead of right
emotional choices often pointless
when we get burned what do we learn
empty minds wasted times
should have read between the lines
broken hearts with poison darts

so much in life is free
if you open your eyes you`ll see
it`s the simple things that matter to me
like a flower attracts a honey bee
spending time together is the key
to a life of never ending glee

Wildflower
wildflowers growing free
in a field for all to see
a place of rest for honey bees
a beauty for our eyes to see
with its rainbow of colors
and its warmth of summer
its breathtaking aroma
awakes me from my coma
like a place in heaven
where there is no depression
hummingbirds arrive in succession
bringing joy to my expression
i take from this a lesson
