Connor Helps Me Find the Words

Today I woke up with a smile
My loving sunshine was coming home
Yes the sun would shine all day
And even when the doctors took that away
I took a deep breath and knew
That it's sunshine in my heart
That is all I need to put a smile on my face
And I sip cheap wine to that
Today I packed up my bags
And I'm never coming back
