Love Falling Freely

Love falling freely
Pride miles ahead
Yesterday never died
Tomorrow never comes
Today never ends

While Humanity Sleeps

While humanity sleeps
The animal creeps
Stealthily in the night
Searching for a fight
Savage beasts howl
Hungry for a soul
Blood-curdling screams
Infiltrate man's dreams
The animal is weeping
Humanity is still sleeping

Depression #2

Painful melancholy
Broken innards
Isolated solitude
Desire to sleep
Suicidal dreams
Pleasant nightmares
Pathetic power
Ultimate undermining
Confusion and cults
Failure and faults
Frivolous fool
Nonsense and why
Truth and lies

Alliteration Anonymous

Optical illusions
Distortions and diffusions
Detrimental depression
Ominous oppression
Severe suppression
Impervious impression
Chaotic compression
Retributive repression
Overbearing obsession
Sickly succession
Optical orifices

Fact vs. Fiction

This is no game
It is no riddle
Nothing to be solved
Fight the battle
Sun up, sun down
Moon whole
Or not at all
Perpetual pattern
Solitary isolation
Noise is so great
But all is silent
Pathetic games
No one cares
Environmental turmoil
Emotional warfare
Mental torture
No one knows
Chase the wind
Hide from self
Sleep to dream

Soul-Searching

Thoughts run like blank pages through my mind
I search desperately, but there is nothing to be found
I am overflowing with what shoud be behind
It's rising so quickly I feel I've already drowned
I avoid my reflection because I hate what I see
I cannot come to terms with who I am
I feel like I've lost my own identity
I'm missing out on perfection by one gram
My dreams are twisted and haunt me all day
I become confused, dazed, jaded, and cold
The line between fact and fiction quickly frays
I am left with nothing to hold
