Believe In Something Just So That It Seems Real

I believe that we all have a purpose,
even if it's not always clear

I believe that we may make choices,
but fate leads us to the outcome

I believe that true love exists,
though only few find it - and keep it

I believe in magic,
even if it's only real when believed

I believe in God,
but not the written rules of the bible

I believe in second chances,
for those who learn from their mistakes

I believe that good friends and family,
keep a persons world turning

Mexican Sun

Shining bright in the cloudless sky
Mexican sun: shine down on me
Let your rays kiss upon my skin
Gently bronzing my pale pigment
Mexican sun: shine down on me
My heart skips a beat in your light
Tiny sweat beads slide down my cheek
Mexican sun: shine down on me
My breathing slows as I close my eyes
Imagination set free dancing in my mind
Mexican sun: shine down on me
Palm tree's sway soaking in your shine
The rays are a quilt that warms my body
Mexican sun: shine down on me
Cold vodka and coke rush to my head
Heat waves paceing my hot breath
Mexican sun: shine down on me
A cloud rolls by adding a shadow
Fading with the mirage in my thoughts
Mexican sun: someday come kiss me again

Dreamland Adventure

Everything is beautiful
There is no evil to be attached
the floors swirl inviting you in
the room flourished with colours
flowers flow from the earthly walls
giggling and laughing for you to walk further
at the the other end of the room a mirror takes form
the reflection reveals a face that hold no shadows
A smile that sparkles through the eyes
looking in the mirrow little faces look back
all smiling and singing a melody
convincing you that you're a fairy
a fairy princess that has invisible wings
fly, fly, believe it and you'll fly
happiness is all there is and to pretend is easy
slowly floating above the swirling floor
you soar past the walls
touch the ground thats white as snow
what you're standing on is a cloud
In the mystical world where you're closer to the moon

Oh Mother, Mother

she holds her so close
holding onto an image
but with an unintended force
she sends a signal to run
oh mother, mother
so blinded to the truth
caught up in old love and strife
doesn’t understand the young spirit she is hindering
hasn’t got a clue that simple words can kill a young girls dream
The girls heartache was a long time hidden
trying to resist the hurt caving inside
oh mother, mother
how she loves her
how they love each other
so much she does for a daughter
but as much as the girl tried to keep silent
being quiet during times of sinking words
the light in her heart needed to scream
to let it be known that her dreams were everything
it is tough to be a dreamer in the realms of reality
