You, song withing each song
And hum withing each hymn
why so reluctant to love me?

A Simile (Pirouette)
A simile saved me.
It jetted across sky
It dived the deepest sea
It climbed a mountain face
Only to rescue me.
Only to rescue me
A simile sang songs
And danced all night long.
When I was so burdened,
It took the weight from me.

I Am The Wind Vane (Tuanortsa)
I am the wind vane.
I depend on the wind
To turn.
It is my energy.
I need what wind gives
To be me.
I am the wind vane.
I am the wind vane.
To be me
I need what wind gives;
It is my energy.
To turn,
I depend on the wind.
I am the wind vane.

Skeltonic couplet – Accepting
Love forsaken
And heart broken
By she who’s just
For I in lust
Sought love’s pleasure
Through sex’s measure
From another.
So why bother?
Please do not halt
It is my fault,
You deserve best,
I failed the test,
I’m unworthy
So please, leave me.

Snow Angel (Triolet)
I had found her out in the snow.
She was someone’s first doll.
I guess at last they’d let her go.
I had found her out in the snow.
All she had was her pretty bow.
Like most, she was once all.
I had found her out in the snow.
She was someone’s first doll.

Split couplet – Relax and play
To fume and rumble in endless haste
It is a waste
To not embellish the journey in time
It is a crime.
Robbing one’s self of patience’s subtly joy,
You can’t enjoy
The sweet things in life - full of gaping grief
For you were brief.
So tomorrow to have a happy day,
Relax and play.

At a Closer Look
At a closer look,
The flower,
And the bee,
Are more beautiful
Than the distance told.
The bee,
Looking at the flower
Could only stare;
For at a closer look,
The purple petals,
Become a blanket,
That wraps him,
In its warmth.
At a closer look,
The flower,
And the bee,
Are more beautiful.

Frank
He is a potent muse
Placed on an explosive fuse
He is a quiver of humor
He causes laughter’s murmur
He is a whole lot of fun
Pleasure in words he spun
To gain the attention of all
Science he made a ball
We were inflamed in fun
But to logic we could return.

A Kiss 2
They call it a kiss
A butterfly’s touch
The gentlest rest
They call it a kiss
A summertime breeze
The warmest caress
They call it a kiss
A drizzling rain
The heavenly dress
They call it a kiss
A sweltering sun
The desire for less
They call it a kiss
A bee's painful sting
The soul of true stress

The Snow
God had placed them there
Straight out of heaven they fell
Beyond the clouds their source
Pearls from God’s own robe
Frigid describes it true
To match the cold of heart
Coldest when the sky is blue
Beauty makes it more harsh
The snow does bring warmth
The snow does bring cheer
Water that can be carried in hand
The snow, preserves the life of man.
