Rhythm Of My Heart!
Her rested head imparts love upon us.
For me, it's the smell of her just washed hair
For her, who is the rhythm of my heart,
It is its beat:
Because my heart knows when
Its Heart is near, like metal detectors
Set to discover gold, it grows to be
Audible, and she, loving this, becomes warm
And her warmth sends sweet perfume by her hair,
Which teases and pleases me, so she's held close
And I'm held close, as we lay in love's flow

No One Heard
A song was sung that no one heard.
The song was sung all through the town.
It played for days - from dust until dawn.
It greeted on the morning and midnight yawn.
A song was sung that no one heard.
The melody was sweet and words were strong.
The instruments were the piano and the gong.
No one heard, no they did not,
For to hear, you needed the purest heart.
The song was played in the land on man;
A song was sung that no one heard.

The (Our) Future
She said 2010,
Can I wait until then?
If I build a time machine,
Would it end in me marrying?
What if I pass the right continuum
Would I still end up single and numb?
If I travel on time's ethereal rings
Would she at this time bear my ring?
I want to propel forward from my blackened past
Into hope of love treasured and destined to last.
So I travel in faith and in the righteous name of love
Crossing fingers, opening heart and seeking help from above.

Love is for the lovely
Lovely can't be loveless
This world is a hot mess
Love is for the lovely
We're caught up in sex and flesh
Love is for the lovely
Love isn't for the loveless
Love is no longer from the heart
Love is from the eyes
Love is no longer spiritual
Love has become carnal
Love is no longer love
God has been removed from love
Love has become worthless
Love is no longer timely
Love has become sporadic
Spontaneity isn't love
Love has become spontaneous

Short Couplet- Brotherly Love
In eyes as clear as glass I see
That wisdom of love is for me
To hold in time and cherish much
Lovely emotions: hugs, and such.
The simple things like honey bees
Know best to heed brother’s pleas
When unfortunate is the fate,
The many join and share the plate.
Through sweet, or sour, they are there
To share with brother, for they care.
Man can learn a lot from the beast,
To cherish brother is the least
That one human can humbly do,
For him to know love that is true.

When Man Chooses
If I did not love you so, I would love her
For in all honesty, she’s a fairer flower
And if your breasts are apples, hers are grapefruits
Much softer, much juicier to tell the truth!
And to her silk your lips feel much like gravel, and
If for you I went to the moon, for her, to hell I’d travel
Travel if only I knew I would get a single kiss
For if yours causes thrill, her's certainly would bring bliss
So my mind is made and my woman I’m about to pick
And now I choosing her dearer to me, I chose Angelic!

You're a Poem
Much like a poem are you to me, my love.
Your breath's rhythm I feel and am in awe of,
For it's like a breeze that takes me sky high
Releases me, then catches me that I'll not cry...
You are the trill that gives life to my soul.
You are the pulse that makes my heart whole.
You touch me with words and make me warm
and with the same, of your best you do perform.
Your voice cadences until it becomes a song.
Your smile's a simile that you and I belong.
You take me places that in myself I'd never see.
You mean any and EVERYTHING to me.

I Was Drunk And It Was Fun
I was drunk and it was fun,
At least I think, for it did not return;
To keep save in my memory,
The last 16 hours lived by me.
I was drunk and it was fun,
As in daze, round and round I spun;
Where I stopped, I did not know,
So I asked the bartender to pour.
I was drunk and it was fun,
Robber chasing me, I could not run,
So I took the hand that I was dealt,
And handed over all of my wealth.
I was drunk and it was fun,
No, I do not remember this gun.
Now this lie detector test I fail,
I have time remember -life in jail.

Hooray for May (Sontoum)
December is always so very lame
Compared to May, when flowers bloom again,
Then I just sit and look for one to blame -
The poison Ivy, or bee’s precious pain.
Compared to May, when flowers bloom again
July is sad - abundant, then, they fade:
The poison Ivy or bee’s precious pain
Will soon depart like summertime parade.
July is sad - abundant, then, they fade:
Beach outings, birds and my courageous finds
Will soon depart like summertime parade
As Mother Nature pulls her winter blinds.
December is always so very lame
Then I just sit and look for one to blame.

The Sun, The Wind
Each poem is perfect,
Yet each is imperfect.
For poetry is like the wind.
Can you tell wind to blow?
Each poem is like the sun.
Can you tell sun to shine?
Yet when it makes hot,
We wish the sun to set
And the winds to increase,
But who are we to command
The sun, or the wind?
And when winds cause havoc
We wish them to subside,
And when winter is harsh
We wish the sun to bloom,
But each remains like a seed
Blossoming it their time.
Yet the sun is perfect,
And the wind is perfect,
