A Rivers Journey

As I gaze at the swaying branches
Covering shadows hovering in trickling light,
I feel the breeze that enfolds, then leaves,
Like the echo of a silent whisper, as it takes flight!

The freshness of the spring
Renews my whole being
As it sprinkles down to meet the flow,
Which makes its journey below!

Making my way along the stoney trail
As for a while, together we travel,
I wonder at its destination
Whilst I journey to my own!

A Journey Beyond

We know not of the secrets of life untold,
But as we journey onward
To relieve our thirst, in the refreshing springs of renewal,
Soak up the warmth, in the sweet sunny meadows,
Find courage, as we swelter through the loneliness of the burning sandy desert,
Walk in inspiration, through the beauty of the golden forests,
Fade into faith, within the torrents and whirlpools of the raging river valleys
And enter the stilling decay of the silent wooded wilderness, in resting peacefulness
An inspiration of a limiting journey
Captures a life beyond an imagination so vast
That we touch an almighty presence
To find our hearts encompassed by a guiding hand
Into an everlasting eternity, instilling hope in the sunshine to come.
