I am invisible
No one can see me
Nothing I do affects anyone
No one can hear
I look into a mirror
I can’t see myself look back
It’s like I don’t exist

Who are you?
Just a stranger walking by
Who feels so cold
But warm to the eye

A beautiful face
But as pale as can be
Bright blue eyes
Someone like me

Oh who are you?
That has stranded out
One that is different
With no doubt about

Rather be gone

Tired of running
Don’t want to face
The truth of my life
That feels a disgrace

Sick of faking
The same smile everyday
Can’t find a reason
For me to stay

Want to go away
Far from here
Leave it all behind
Just disappear

Shouldn’t be alive
Each day I hurt more
Wish I was gone
Like I’ve wanted before

I walk this empty world
All alone
I don’t wish for many others
I’m on my own
All I see
Is black and white
But apparently this world
Is colourful and bright
But all in my view
It’s only just me
Stuck in a place
Where I don’t feel free
How I wish for someone else
That will cure this pain
But for now
I’ll walk in vain

Hope in this world
Hope for me
Is somewhere
But where could it be?

I dig deep to find it
As I need it real bad
Cause with a little bit of hope
My life won't be so sad

All I need to believe
That I can get this through
I know I can do it
I swear it is true

Hope is all I want
Hope is all I need
Hope will always get me back
Hope will always lead

Life

Life is great
It’s full of fun and laughter
It makes you smile
Life’s full of colour

I know life can seem horrible
Trust me I’ve been there
But you just have to open your eyes
And forget everything, this is what you’re living for

Live life to the fullest
So you can say you did it all
Because life is truly beautiful
Have a look around you

Rose of depression

Thorns of a rose
Cut into my hand
Deep under my skin
There it stays

Even when I let go
The blood and scars remain
It might heal
But the memory will return

It relates to depression
In a number of ways
Hurt and pain
The memory will never fade

It slowly kills us
As the petals begin to fall
Time passes slowly
Suffering more and more
