Unappreciated Rain

It lands on the windowpane
And brings sane while it cleanse
The distinctive sound as it hits the ground
Rain, the gift from the One

We gain but we complain
Today it's present and tomorrow it's gone
It gathers itself into what might appear as random
As life celebration

And singing with the wind
Before falling down to the ground
As sunshine dries the air and raindrops disappear
Again, complain we begin

Forgive us rain
As we human have no appreciation
The equal importance of sunshine and rain
Human, shameless us should learn of acceptance
