Finger Tip To Finger Tip

If my eyes were flowers
they'd bloom
in your view;
my hands
extensions of
your sky blue
eyes.

If walking
is common place
not so now
for each step
draws near our wedding day.

I lay down in the creek bed
and the Water Bliss
washes over me.

My crown
of Fleur de Lis

The Phone

There is this phone
which won't ring
settled there in my
heart crease.

Stubbornly silent
opaque
un-ringing.

I move it
hoping it to motivate;
I ignore it
thinking to placate
that Yearning
Agony
of not knowing;
why don't you call?

The phone is broken
or is it my heart?

Souling

Give me your hand
for it is my life extended;

Give me your mouth
for its warmth keeps me alive

Give me your eyes for they see
for me
beyond my self.

Give me your
heat
in between
for without it's prospect
I wither.

Give me kind words;
they comfort me
and help me carry on.

Rainbow Walking-How Long?

If Rainbow Walker wonders how long?
Not long
Time now seems an eternity
but it is only seems that way
but you will live to be 89
and most of life is ahead
you have time.
Patience and endurance
are the lessons you have to learn now
because they will be what you need
when true love comes.
Unhappy now
the longer it stays
truly magnifys
happiness
when it finally comes;
because devotion
patience
and belief in self
are the stalwarts

Say Hi

I took her hand
looking at her palm
to see
lines
and many roads crossing
but all were leading away;
.
I touched her shoulder gently-
that gentle touch left a mark
on her soft skin.

She touched my dreams
and they still ask for her;
I unable to tell them
where she is;

I touch my own face
to be sure I am still here;
I twirl in my room,
to feel the air move;

Soul-Time

I can not un-regard
I can not deny the sustain,
I can not over-refrain
acknowledging the kind gifts
you gave.

I'll not ever repay
the time
you spent
and came
when I needed
time
time
to cry
time to cry;

I cannot re-pay
all that
but offer
only that

Picking It Up

I feel along the edges
some rough
some smooth;

something is alive there
I can hear a heartbeat.

It is warm in some spots,
in others cool;

I can hear muffled talking
but I can not understand
what is being said.

I touch it once again
and bring it closer to my ear
because I am blind
and need to feel
what I cannot see.

Swimming

So soothing the warm hand
which poises, glides across
the eddies of my soul
and quiets the waters there.

Your Heart dips its oars
to my deepest depths
stirring my swimming-ness.

I open my mouth like the fish
and drink you in-
huge gulps.

I swirl inside the water-spout
and fall into the ocean-ness
where we both exist
in the quiet bliss
of our contentment.

Where in life does this ocean live-

Enveloped

At first embrace
I could feel the thickness
of him
surprising to me,
the musculature;
his arms
made me feel
small
and girlish.

I could feel
the smell of him;
his shoulder
a gentle slope
and I a woman toboggan
fitting his mountain side.

He was hard
against my soft side
and we both blended

Moon Blanket

You're the candy bar
I want to eat
the sugar dropp on my tongue
and you tease like summer promises
in the back of your pickup truck
and I look up and can only see stars
and your mouth
on mine.
You start me up like that custom hemi of yours
and make me roar
make hair pin turns in my hair
which make me squeal to
the stars above
twinkling
on top of us
on this mattress
as we lay,
only the moon
for a blanket.
