Fairy Stars
My uncle Dan
was a Harlem Man
danced extra light on his feet
smiles like radiant sun
talked up close to ya
comfortable with himself
and you could always
smell his cologne.
The ladies loved him;
loved that laugh of his
he always had flattery for them
often given.
Uptown.
down town
he never came to the house
what without a gift;
loved us 'chilings'
soft candy

Body Mine
This solar system mobile
slowly rotates
moved by a tiny breeze
I imagined just might
come from me below
breathing.
This was the silence of me.
The blank day was still
as the inside of a deep vault
no sound outside
no sound from within.
I sank into the moment;
my breathing muting itself
wanting to see
how comfortable
I was with the me
lying there.

War and Peace
'There is in this world that eternal battle'
the General said
'between Good and Evil.
There can be no compromise;
each nation needs living space
and those who follow Evil
will not hesitate
to take yours
and that means,
some of the time,
War.
War is the ultimate expression
of Evil vs. Good
and inevitable.'
Peace spoke:
War is for those who profit from War
and every war ends in Peace

Friends, Passion and Friends No More
I have seen Passion Storm
and sweep away obstacles.
Did Romeo and Juliet's
passions storm;
such that only death could
their passions stay?
Witness raging desire;
hearts bursting;
love amok;
mouths rampant;
where loins ache.
I have seen these tempests blow
seating themselves
in life's centers
swirling down among
those of us who love
with every passion mote

z-The Muse- Whither America?
I asked the Muse Whither America?
'I see millions in the broken cities
crowding debt,
unhappiness.
I see families un-affordable,
single parents struggling;
.
I see the children no longer able to afford the big houses
and the old ones abandon the homestead,
and crowd back to the cities.
The young ones can't find work;
its five to a house.
.
The Americans, the British, the Italians
the Russians, all of Western Europe
can not

Einsein's Magic
If I can by the weight of my mind
affect the frequencies between
you and I
and mere proximity
can gravitationally
bend light and the space between
you and I
approaching
each with smooth intents
then we each
exhibit Einstein.
If space and time bend
due to our mental fields
and our mutual gravities
then what we all suspect
was proven true
by the theory of general relativity.
Thus, everything by extension

A Homo Sapien
We are the Smart Apes
who rose from the African Plains
who learned to eat meat
and grow large brains;
I see Cro-Magnon man
and Neanderthal man;
living in the Caves
fashioning spear tips;
I, Cro-Magnon Man
came from the Middle East
to Europe
to find there Neanderthal,
short,
stocky
slow.
I could see
he had no knowledge of serrated

A War of Words
There is a war here;
a war among the Words
where Meaning itself
is often
wounded or murdered,
taken from the Dictionary Battlefield
and buried in Arcane Cemetery,
or kept alive
twisted to opposite intents
or degraded,
or marginalized
or worse
sanitized by the French.
There is a War going on
at all times-
the War of the Words.

He Said, I Said
'We,
you know' I said
'we humans already,
already know all things.
Will I be rich
people ask me.
I say either you will or you won't
or you'll be in the middle.
See, you already know all the answers.
If you get rich then there nothing to worry about.
If you don't get rich-you'll obviously try
and you might fail
therefore there is nothing to worry about.
Or you will land in the middle and since that
is ok
you can relax.
nothing to worry about.

Roll'em
She said:
'I see you always roll your own.'
'Yes, he said 'gives me something to do with my hands and my tongue.'
Thats nice, she said like a man that keeps his tongue steady, keeps him from talking too much.'
'Really. he said
'Really.' she said
'Aren't you going to ask me what I like too'
'Yeah sure. he said I like a woman what snaps her bra before the corner pool shot, eyes like liquid dark pools in the night; what has happy thoughts which show; somebody like you.'
'What else you got with that silver tonge of yours, ' she said 'something that a person like my self might like? '
'Well, ' he said smiling' people tell me that I kiss good and never tell.'
