i was yours for one night
the only one who you held tight
im trying to make the night last
slowing things down so they dont run so fast

but i know
no matter how slow
this night will go
you dont love me so

why are we here together tonight
are you trying to make me feel alright?
because it kills me that tomorrow you wont be here
the love i feel now will all just dissapear

but i guess thats how life goes
one night just for memories i suppose
a night that means nothing to you
but so much to me, if you only knew
