Money and Me

Money and me, we’re such a team
Money and me, inseparable we
Money and me, together we dream
Money and me, in harmony

Money and me, such synergy
Money and me, so much in love
Money and me, a power to be
Money and me, we’re hand in glove.

Frog

France and China feed from your demise,
Restaurateurs are not exactly chums,
Oh how they rave about your tender thighs!
Gourmand orders - another frog succumbs…

Lonely We

Lonely you, lonely I,
Lonely together; here we lie.
Lonely me, lonely you,
Lonely in love, O! what to do?

Lonely us, lonely we,
Lonely alike, just you and me:
Lonely allies;
Life mundane makes
Lonely souls to cry in pain.

At least this mirror helps my plea -
Some lonely cheer in what I see -
To share my pain to some degree:
Another lonely I with me.

Night Close

Under night close
Death rose to greet me.
I turned; looked back,
Though nothing beckoned -
No one cried or mourned.

Scorned by all
- My fellow race -
I shed the byes to empty space, then
Gazed upon the stony face
Of Death anon, and
So chose our treaty.

All on Earth

I died so many times in empathy,
Cried so many rhymes in sympathy,
Dreaming out the horrors in the dark –
Imbibing all the agony. Embark
I must, on travels out from gentle home –
A flagellating path; a track to roam:

I am to Hell to go, to ruin, aflamed,
And there, in queerest irony, be framed
In curse: what all on dubious earth have done:
The race to kill our planet has begun.

We Just Know

Central to the nose
Line down

Lips
Tip the balance

Upon red
My own settle
Build

Internal tides
Heave
Flood in
Thermal swathes

Tuning intumescence

Hands firm
Soft eyes mist
Blinding out reality

Curse of Lust

O Lust! you're burning holes in our affair.
We lost our brazen face without a care-
Flaunting all in front of those who scowled,
Laughing at the doleful - e'er we howled!

Ironically, our sneering turned inside
To out the damage, tear apart our pride.
We saw we'd fallen for the devil's dust!
So let's in shame the blade to take and thrust!

Off-Chance Dream

I chanced a glimpse
And thro' the crowd I caught her eye;
A vision flamed in future stories:
Glorious nights, wedding vows,
Energetic children,
Growing old, together to part -
Rejoicing all we had before we bade our byes,
Drifting forth, a single melded soul...

A shove - the jolt had brought me to.
He warned me, 'Watch it mate! '
And even she had gone.

Knife

Slit and
Slither knife
Penetrate in phallic push
To perforate the pulse of tissues in the flesh
Slice a vein to drain the unsuspecting victim
E’er they bleed and plea
Their scream
Of death

Women for the Men

To clasp a silken-textured breast
Is nothing but a daily quest
Of preternatural drive.

We wonder of the fulsome fare
Her bra undone might bring to bear -
Disclosing all so we may stare
For hours on end upon the pair of
Why-do-woman's-curves-ensnare-
the-brains- of-men? -

A bleak affair,
And why we still survive!
