Ever growing in pride,
Knowing what it takes
To stand strong when tried.
America’s heartbeat remains.

Freedom still comes at a price,
A soldier lost his life today.
Hearts are low, but spirits high.
America’s heartbeat is gain.

She lifts high her head
With the hope of making things right.
Strongly and reverently lead,
America’s heartbeat ever resides.

She breathes in freedom
And speaks of hope for the future.
Her song longs to be sung,
America’s heartbeat desires to be pure.
