Bring Him Home

please bring him home
to ease her pain
to erase her worries
and to calm her nerves

please bring him home
so she is not alone
and so she knows what is going on
and doesn't expect the worse from this

please bring him home
so we can know everything is ok
so that safe is how we will feel
so that the past isn't you

please bring him home
for another night
that will lead to another day
that will bring another year, of you
