Is God a man a man may fool?
Finite as all we see
Could Satan fashion such a tool
To thwart The King to be
Was this the reason of the tree?
The ruse he’d use to win
Or Jesus’ means to victory
To rid the world of sin
Is not The King of Heaven real?
The Lord almighty true
Is not His powerful arm to feel?

The fool will say there is no God
The blind deceived will doubt
By faith we see and feel His rod

Life’s Pearl Of Wisdom
Here and there in oysters fall
A single grain of sand
Producing later a lustrous ball
In a fisher man’s hand
Attacking the sand found inside
Through membranes twisting round
Turning, spinning seeking to hide
This foreign body found
When anti bodies cease to curl
When no more a threat
The oyster may reveal a pearl
A necklace to beset
Let’s think the pearl now if we can
As a coat around a child
A simile to The Son of man
Through whom one’s reconciled

To Self I Die
I pray my God a robe of white
I pray I do no wrong
That I may serve The Living Light
That I may sing Your song
I know no self can graduate
No self can rise on high
I pray all self I’d learn to hate
And to myself I’d die
I choose instead to walk Your way
To follow Christ Your Son
I choose that self would have no say
To see the battle won
You see the fool You see the proud
You see who seek for gold

For some its short, for others long
Depending on The Way
Yet each may sing the self same song
Of ‘Trust Him and obey’
Displayed beyond the realm of time
Beyond man’s wildest dream
Trust when pure is love sublime
And act of faith supreme
Obey The Lord of righteousness
Trust Jesus whilst we might
Your waywardness through Him confess
And walk within The Light
Let not this life be lived in vain
Let’s play no more the clown
Let love instead be seen to reign

The world’s losing its greatest war
Her most important fight
We’ve casualties from shore to shore
As darkness battles Light
Many are wounded many die
There’s overall despair
But few can see the reason why
Chaos is everywhere
Nobody wants God anymore
The world’s full of deceit
Decency’s gone and locked the door
And love is in retreat

Many a person thought insane
Is often void of care
Not always are life’s conflicts plain
Nor strategies laid bare
The devil’s still a lying cheat
He’ll occupy the mind
Manipulating most discreet
The feeble lost and blind
We need to know we need to see
Discern a servant’s rights
Believe The Lord for victory
Not lose with darkness fights

Evil’s Root (1)
Evil is like a bad disease
Affecting heart and soul
Bringing its victim to their knees
It robs them of their goal
Some seek in depth the devil’s course
We seek where shame begins
We search the world; it’s evil source
The root of all our sins
Genetics; is our prime excuse
Creation’s sad mistake
When parent’s drink, their drug abuse!
But not commands; we break

I Trust In Jesus
Before this body turns to dust
Before this world I leave
Upon The Lord I’ve placed my trust
Upon The Rock I’ll cleave
I’ve placed my trust in Jesus Christ
God’s Son of flesh and bone

I trust His word alone

Passion’s aroused passion’s displayed
Bodies with love entwined
How is it then, with promises made?
Someone has change their mind
A simile of the church today

Walk for a while God’s chosen way
Feeling alive inside

Losing the track of time
