Faith Like A Child

Faith like a Child

Faith innocent and pure,
Everlasting and forever endure.
Faith strong and heart wise,
Eyes seeing through any disguise.

Life is simple and naïve,
Making it not hard to believe.
Life is joyful and gay,
Taking everything day by day.

Faith like a child runs wild and free,
Runs though all land and sea.
Faith like a child grows by night,
Protects you from every fright.

If only I had not grown older,
My heart would not begin to smolder.
