The Sun is dead

All day long
The sun shines on us all
Until the sun goes away
And we can’t find it
We tell ourselves
It will come back
But we secretly know I
It won’t
The sun doesn’t want
To shine any longer
On this dark place
And it’s all our fault
We killed the sun
The Sun is dead

Let the Sun Shine

We pollute the water
We poison the land
We burn all our trees
For supply and demand

The sun won’t shine
And frankly, I don’t blame it
We screwed this world up
But we can still save it

We use nuclear attacks
And kill the human race
We wipe our whole cultures
Cuz we don’t like their face

The sun wants to shine
But it cannot bare
To watch us destroy ourselves
Without even a care
