I will build a road of concrete

I will build a road of concrete
And walk along the path.
Though it is hard concrete.
I will walk on that.

Even when I fall.
And trip and stumble and slide.
Once I pick myself up.
I will go along on a glide.

When I cry at the pain.
And yelp at all the bad.
I'll pick myself up.
I'll remember what I once had.
