Nabeela Black

This is black and white (response to When I Born, I Black) Apr 2006

When I born, I not good
whether in the big house or the 'hood
When I grow up, I learn more bad
people all around make me mad
But When I go in Son, my spirit changes
free from prejudice, hate and chains
So When I scared, I call on the Lord
protect me, change hearts, rule this world!
What makes me sick? anyone who can't see
their need to change too and get on knees.
When you die, black white yellow brown
each will be judged, so turn your heart around!
Cuz God’s love is color-blind to skin, but not sin.
'black’ or ‘white' of your heart is transparent to Him!
