Assuming What I Know?

How can I sleep in the darkest of nights, assuming what I know?
When the most painful thing to me is, How can I live through each day, assuming what I know?

Desire

Resembling a moth around a burning paper
Is how I'm strained to you,
not capable of opposing your charm
There's not anything I can do,
and like that moth who flies too near
And sets its wing on fire,
I find I too have gone too near
because I'm burning with desire.

I love the child in you

I love the child in you
So guiltless and sweet
the naughtiness in your eyes
The color upon your cheek
The gentle way you speak
That shows your selfless care
The touch of your beautiful hands
That beautiful whispered my hairs
The smiles that we share
That has filled my life with glee
For what I am with you
I found the child in me

I love you too

The breeze is singing,
silently and pleasingly
Behind the rhythm of impatient raindrops.
On a tarnished metallic rooftops.
And as I listen, metaphors of you
spiral ahead of my eyes,
each one bouncing off the new,
in a kaleidoscope of recollections.
From time to time the breeze sings your distant heart
and I listen, and sometimes, I whisper
I love you too.

Ceaseless Burn

Ceaseless burn set me afire.
Rage with love, light my desire.
Let the fire put out never,
My eternal burn forever.

Undying burn, ignited now
Do not through your fire allow
Lighter's flash to others flare:
Cheat you, then, I would not dare.

Never-ending burn, eternally then
Keep your burn from other men
With my burn I you proclaim
Forever my never-ending flame.

From Time To Time

From time to time,
the breeze sings
silently, peacefully and harmoniously
Behind the rhythm of excited raindrops
on tarnished aluminum rooftops
and as I listen, metaphors of you,
travel before my eyes,
each one bouncing off the other,
in a kaleidoscope of moments.
Sometimes the breeze recollects our memories
and as I listen, from time to time, I blush,

I love you too

Relationships

Remember when getting high meant swinging on the playground? When protection meant wearing a helmet? Dad's shoulders were the highest place on earth and mom was your hero? Your worst enemies were your siblings. Race issues were about who ran the fastest. War was only a card game. And the only drug you knew was cough medicine. The most pain you felt was when you skinned your knees, and goodbyes only meant until tomorrow? And we couldn't wait to grow up'. Now, I've grown up, grown up with a confused relationship and now an intimate one.

You are my desire

Sweet music flowing from your soft hand
That plays within... to ignite my love's fire.
You have come to me from a far away land,
My dearest princess, to fill my life's desire,
A symphony of word and passion you bring.
Excitement builds upon addictive sound,
Brought forth in melody to make my  heart sing
For all the eternal beauty that, with you, I've completely found.

A life is changed in just an instant's time,
All darkness fled before that everlasting sun
That shines from unspoken words of softest rhyme
And speaks of happiness, only just begun.

Stop questioning my love. I love you

If inquiring would craft us wise
No eyes would ever stare in eyes;
If all our romance were told in a speech
No talks would travel to any ears and reach
Were feelings free from lethal mesh
And love not jump in hearts of flesh
No throbbing breasts would desire to meet
And find their happiness complete.

For who is there that survives and knows
The furtive powers by which he grows?
Were awareness all, what were our need
To ecstasy and weak and beautifully bleed?

Then request not, cutiee, the 'If' and 'Why'
I love you till I die.
For I have to love since I live
And life in me is what you give.
AND LIFE IN ME IS WHAT YOU GIVE.
