Marula tree trunk

Strong winds blow against the Marula tree trunk,
They come with miscellaneous objects,
Light and heavy,
And use them to break the Marula tree trunk,
But nothing happens to the Marula tree trunk,

Light and heavy rains come,
The Marula tree smiles,
For the plentiful rain water will make
It stronger and taller,

Animals come and sleep under and on top
Of the Marula tree,
Lean and rub their itching bodies
Against the Marula tree trunk,
Relieve themselves against it,
But nothing happens to the Marula tree trunk,

The human race use the Marula tree for shade
Against the merciless summer heat of the Limpopo sun,

Man & war

Man live for hatred,
Man live for fighting,
Man live for selfishness,
Man live for destruction,
Man cries for peace and make war,
Thus, man now means war!

In Afghanistan, man makes war,
In Egypt, man makes war,
In Syria, man makes war,
In the Republic of Congo, man makes war,
In Ivory Coast, man makes war,
In Niger, man makes war,
In Nigeria, man makes war,
In Libya, man makes war,
In the Middle East, man makes war,
Thus, man is synonymous with war!

What is peace to man?
Peace to man is domination of the weak,

Beauty today, Ugly tomorrow

Beauty and ugliness everywhere
Beauty in the eyes and mind of the admirer
Ugliness in the eyes and mind of the hater
Transformational reconstruction everywhere,
Driven by muscle and led by mind,
Tomorrow's eyes do not see the same as Yesterday's

Beauty today, ugly tomorrow
No guarantee beauty today will be beauty tomorrow
No guarantee ugliness today will be ugliness tomorrow
No guarantee structures standing today will be standing tomorrow

The world is beautiful by mankind
Man is forever in the chase of dirt
Today I live on my terms, tomorrow I watch and smile or cry
Today may look like tomorrow if wishes were horses

Tomorrow is uncertain
Everything in it is uncertain
Our wish ends in our hearts and minds
