I tried to write a simple song,
a special one just for you.
A love song to explain,
how you make me feel.

but not a single word,
nor a phrase came out.
neither letters,
t'was scrabbled in my mind.

words may not be new,
or heard a million times before.
it might be simple,
but extraordinary just for you.

cold breeze from the wind,
encompasses the thoughts of you.
the twilight of the rising sun,
like i was wrapped around your arms.
