Sweet Precious Child

Heaven hear the unborn’s cry
Send an angel from above
Golden basket lined with fleece
Hold the gift er’ so gently

Sweet child without a voice
Precious child without a choice

Solemn thoughts from Heaven’s throne
Mighty hands receive them back
Single buds for your garden
Bloom against the angel’s song

Sweet child without a voice
Precious child without a choice

If only we dream

Hold me close dear
Hold me so near
Hear my heart speak words so true

Dance with me darlin’
Dance with me in my dreams
Dance to moonlights sweet serenade

Though you are gone now and only memories remain
wishes can come true.....if only we dream

Dream with me darlin’
dream with me now
Wipe away tear drops with sweet kisses of love

Hear my heart calling
Hear my soul’s cry
Hear my love calling....only for you

Though you are gone now and only memories remain

Butterfly Dreams

Oh to be a butterfly and flutter my wings by your check
To have you admire me as I glide by your beautiful smile
To land upon your shoulder and watch you breathe
Oh to hear your voice sweetly recite
as you versed with magic tones
I would fly within your view

And from your sweet, sweet lips you would say,
Beautiful butterfly how I wish this night you were real
So I could hold you in my arms and love you always
Then the words would spin
My wings caught up in the twirl
And before your eyes…
I would be in human form
in your arms, forever more

Ole' Rufus

A field of white petals with a yellow center
As far as the eye could see
Not a flower most prefer
Wild and free

Slinking and stalking
Old Rufus the cat
Listen closely and you can hear his squawking
As he spies an opossum rat

Twice his size
But ole’ Rufus is fearless
Green eyes spy and off he flies
A giant pounce and success

Rolled up in a ball
Mr. Opossum plays his role
Playing his death call
Confirming his triumph with a swipe of kitty’s claw

Midnight Love

My sweet darling dance with me in my dreams
Hear the melody of love play or’ and or’
Watch the fireflies light our dance floor
Let the moon be our crystal ball, spin round and round

Hold me close as clouds we waltz upon
Our hearts take flight
As we look into each other’s eyes
And the kiss we share tastes of sweet honey

My sweet darling dance with me in my dreams
Feel my heart beat next to yours
As they beat in perfect harmony
Becoming one

My body becoming weak as your arms wrap around me
All will surrenders to your desires
I become putty in your hands
Shape me my love

A World Of Pretend

A moon lit night
Stars as far as the eye could see
Sweet evening coolness
Gentle thoughts of thee

Love from a distance
A pure heart and a tender soul

You were real, love was make believe

A hope to guide along the rocky path, I was to face
You were the place that I could hide and forget all cares
Laughter and delight sang in your voice
Happiness and joy were born in my soul

A world of pretend
Making believe it could be

My fairy tale love from across the sea

Pondering upon the Rose on a Sunday Morning......

The symbol of love
When giving in love a rose speaks for itself
The beauty is picturesque
The scent it gives lasting for ever

The rose never seen without her thorns
Still who can not feel happiness when a rose is seen or given?
Even for a brief minute, a second the rose brings a smile
Or perhaps a small sigh of delight

If one were to think upon a rose…
The thorns… the beauty…
The petals that carry the essence…
That lingers even after it is withered

If one were compare to our Lord…
He held thorns upon his precious head; the head of the rose is above the thorns
His love was known for its beauty and compassion, the rose noted for love
His words and Spirit lingers for eternity much like the scent of the rose
