Paradigms

no sunset is nearly as beautiful

no moonlit field as elegant

as when i witnessed them

with your fingers clenched

firmly in mine.

Poet Blues

these words, no matter how sad

can’t quite sing the blues like

my swift stringed electric guitar

weeping like the willows bent

over their flowing creek of tears

Drowning the Sun

stack the bodies higher

the world’s engulfed in fire

and london bridge is burning down

the ashes fall like rain

acidic layer’s bitter pain

and norway is bleeding profound

massive overload calamity

atrocity breaking reality

and the sun’s flames are being drowned.
