One Summer Night

One summer night,
in Mid-July,
always seems to pass me by.

I beg and beg and beg and plead,
that she would notice me,
just this one summer night.

but someday i fear,
that this love and feeling i hold so dear,
only worsen myself as i tumble down,
this one summer night.
