Captain Jack

“Captain Jack”

Around the paddock he went
At a gentle trotting pace
With the lad who had spent
His holidays in this tranquil place.

The boy so loved the horse
And the horse took kindly to him
They would always be friends of course
Old “Captain Jack” and Kym.

Kym became a rider of great grace
Who created history on the track
But never forgot that tranquil place
And good old “Captain Jack”.
