The price of wealth

So young, so educated
Brought up in a world which is disoriented
Raising up to the sound of birds
No unprofitable task of watching cattle graze
A Joburger I am
Specify the verb and I can
So wild is my life
Yet my mind is as narrow as a knife
Money - my daily bread
Let me look good forget I have no roof over my head
Driving the most luxurious cars
Drinking in trendy bars
Wearing latest labels
My life intertwined like cables
Confused individual
The cost of being bilingual
Racing through the day
No time for self, but that's okay
Rushing, rush, rush
Expressing my views at such a speed, maybe I should rather hush
