'Solitude, lovely, solitude' the
Queen claims to the air
Carries away a message
on the wind
may her Love hear

'Upon mine knees, the rapture there, in thought
mine love doth dwell
Carry away mine heart to thee,
fulfilling all ecstasy
With single purpose full of thought
search thee out and comfort bring
For on mine lips a song
doth ring

My Love, my Love where err thou go, my Love, mine heart to thee bestow'
Sitting, silent listening to the clatter below
Taking drink and ponders

Once I had a friend
They would brighten up my day
Once I had a friend
Till they took it all away

Once I had a friend
To share my load and carry on
Once I had a friend
And now that friend is gone

My advice is when you love someone
Tell them every single day
And when they make you smile
Send a smile back their way

For life is not about money
And life is not about gold
If you have a friend you’re richer
Than most will ever know
