Song bird, intrigue me
flow forth your wondrous tune
intrinsically,
your music pours from you
blessing April, May, and June
you softly sing,

Though we both lay here together
we're a hundred worlds apart
different memories; different demons
different Spirits; different Hearts

A Secret Shade Of Blue

Pink is just a shade of Blue
with Purple in between
And Yellow is a shade of Pink,
and, the color that is Green,
I think, is a shade of Yellow too-
And Green, so colorful and clean,
is just a secret shade of Blue -
so if you asked me if Pink
was also Green
I'd tell you, Yes, it's True.

This Crashing Wave

A teardropp drips from cheek to chin
a beer dropp hits the weakness within
my hollow heart and blankened mind
the bleeding soul
where you will find
sweet alcohol
that numbs crimson red
blood -
in sadness we wash - dead
in the flood
All powerful - this crashing
wave
...in my head;
thrashing
in my bed,
can i be saved?
