OH No!

I wish going out was easy and I wish it happened quicker
I wish my head was smart and I wish my heart was a little thicker

I'm getting too involved and it may ruin our friendship
Why do I have to do all the work can't you be the one to kiss MY lips

Are you going to make a move?
Cause I think you like me too...

What more can I do?
I'm at a loss when it comes to you...

Fish vs. Humans

The fish swim in the coral

and we get stuck in school

Some fish are trapped forever in the aquarium inside the tanks

Some people are trapped by wrongdoings, and are put in prison instead of spanked

Fish swim in schools that look similar to them

Teenagers stay in clicks that I'm sure will never end

Sometimes I go to the aquarium and I admire all the fish

I wonder how many times fish think 'to be a human is all I wish'

I Can't Wait For Summer

I love the smell of coffee on a beautiful summer day
I love the way I get up like it could take all day
I love the sun on my skin and jumping in my pool
I like to wear my bathing suit and make all the boys drool

I love catching lightning bugs on a sweet summer night
I love watching Ghost Hunters all day long so I can have a fright
I love reading any book I want not ones I have to read for school
I love grabbing the sticks used for smores and having random
duels

My favorite part of summer is the part where nights never end
Whether I'm spending them with family or I'm spending it with friends

Olden Days

Reminiscing on wanting the ice cream truck to stop near my house
Watching Cinderella and saying thats one friendly mouse

Playing outside for hours and never wanting it to end
Drawing with chalk was the newfound trend

Dreading taking a bath or cleaning up at all
Thinking every adult is extremely tall

Hanging with your parents everyday
Sharing your dolls so all your friends could play

Scraping your knees and thinking life can't get any worse
Loving the idea of eventually having a purse

Smiling over the stupidest things
Thinking you could fly if you just had wings

I'm missing those days as I sit here today
Saying when did life decide to turn out this way?
