A bottle of snow

The sky was grey
the ground was damp
all was cold
and on the grass
laid a bottle of snow

A thick brown sweeter
a thin leather glove
a pair of warm mittens
and a bottle of snow

I sat by the fireplace
a cup of chocolate beside me
and on the floor
laid a bottle of snow

The sky turned blue
the ground sprouted green
warmth was back
and in my hand
