In June

From the start I knew
I had to teach what I had learned
What once I saw as the moon
If I could grasp the sands and hold time
I would change it just for you

O how can I breathe so softly
with you standing before me
In this glittering sun of June

I wonder if we had a chance that time we met
In that sunny part of June
If we just could unite beneath the stars and the moon
I could show them both to you

O how sweetly
I will hold once again what I have craved
It will come before my end
Or may I continue to pray
For that day when we meet once again
