Ruth Street

Hilda's retirement.

Hilda has been a postlady
For 18 years or so.
She really has enjoyed her job
but now it's time to go.

She'll have lots of time to make cakes
and give the grass a mow.
So let's wish her
'Happy retirement'
now she swaps her bike for a hoe,

June Reber

Dear June, I was so sad to hear
You had fallen in a pool.
Not only did you hurt yourself
but I bet you felt a fool.

So heal up all those ligaments
keep walking up those paths.
Next time, please try not taking
underwater photographs!

Sent to June who fell into a pool in Florida whilst taking a snap, hurting herself and June cannot swim.
