No One Feels Safe

The world is so full of crime these days.
People murder and are set free.
No one feels safe anymore.
They always lock their doors,
afraid to come out.
Crime is rampant, and justice
is not served.

Think Of Me And I'll Be There

Think of me when things get tough,
And when your heart feels despair.
Think of me my Darling please for then I will be there.
There to hold your face and kiss your tears away,
To kiss your lips, to hold you tight in your unhappy day.

Then when the tough becomes easy and the sun begins to shine,
The day with all its' happenings will then be yours and mine.
So when things get tough and you despair,
Just think of me and I'll be there.

Am I To Blame

A simple hug or a kiss, that would
have been enough;
to make me feel deserving,
of any type of love.

I've never received her affection, for
her heart she kept to herself;
and the emptiness and pain it caused, to
this day can still be felt.

During my childhood years, and even
now as an adult;
I blame myself for her lack of
love, as if it were my fault.

Yet I still remember my anger,
directed completely her way;
for in my Mother's eyes, I was
a mistake that she had made.

Drunken Pig

from famished ashes upon ashes
through broken bone to broken bone
heedlessly smashing through the temple
of the weakened and alone
from salty nail to salty nail
into the sentimental tides
never to croon of anything
except the thrashing of your lies
from spineless lashes upon lashes
through shattered trust to shattered trust
never to bare sincerity
(Continue on… do what you must)
from tarnished rail to tarnished rail
unto her helpless, feeble cries
never to show your sympathy
please, drunken pig… take your prize
from bloodied gashes upon gashes
and callous stone to callous stone
heedlessly smashing through the temple
of the weakened and alone

I Dance Alone

I dance alone with the night,
the moon holding me close,
beneath the starlight.

My feet moving slow to every
sad song I know, playing over
and over, as alone I go.

The night embraces me and
the winds whisper sad
words to me.

I dance with the tears that fall
from my eyes, they help
me make it through the
lonely nights.

Sighs, I hear in the distance,
as I dance within darkness,
shadows move slowly, as

Just A Girl

I'm just a girl, a hopeless case.
Living in the world a familier place.

I'm just a girl, with tears in her eyes.
Swimming in a pool of cold hearted lies.

I'm just a girl, always second best.
With sleepless nights and no time to rest

I'm just a girl, with scars all around.
Always screaming with out a sound

I'm juts a girl, giving up on life.
Running from my problems headed for the knife

I'm just a girl, who's messed up in the head.
With hope and wishes and prayers to be dead

I'm just a girl, with nothing to live for.
Who shut out the world and fell to the floor.

Storms And Rainbows

Storm clouds gather in a cobalt sky
Beneath a far-away world, gazing high
Embracing power of nature’s force
Commence a journey of ancient course

Whipping winds cleanse the deepening doubt
Assembled force from within, without
Darkness surrounding gathering light
Face assaulted by blustering bite

Arms raised high in a soulful appeal
Summoning strength long thought unreal
Undisturbed, the storm passes by
Quiet electric a new heart held high

In crystal clarity, sublimely calm
Silently praised with cherished alms
Arched in beauty, promises new
Rainbow emerges in precious dew

Find Your Smile

'Smile and the world smiles with you, ' so the saying goes,
where it came from, where it was born, no-one really knows.

But truth will out, where theres a smile because it is contagious,
be it just a little grin, or a smile completely outragious.

A smile come not just from the lips, for it does not then begile,
it comes from within your eyes, for it is there, you find a smile.

From the eyes of a small child, or from a face up in years,
a real smile stretches, yes, from both of your ears.

Some days though, to smile is very hard, if you have worries or trepidation,
it could be health, work of even costly inflation.

But for today, let those thoughts and worries drift far, far away,
help the world shine with your smile, and make it last all day.

Within The Midnight Hour

In the midnight hours, my heart
breaks, the fog moves in, wraps
it arms around the morning's
longing wake. The gentle dew
falls from the nights moon, within
the loving fog, my heart
blooms.

The midnight stars fading one
by one, falling from the darkness,
until the night is done. Stars
floating within my sea of tears,
midnight awaiting for my
love to appear.

Gripping the cool night, feeling
alone, lost in the misty fog,
my heart looking for a home.
Crying to the Heaven's, my
universe in pain, moon beams

The Dying Rose

Once so beautiful, freshly cut, a single rose stands
encompassed by succulent green leaves and proud standing thorns

petite white gypsum surrounds this expression of love
the tall slender rose vase holds the water for life

Words of appreciation are given as eyes drink in the vista before them
scented perfume fills and stimulates heightened senses
colors of red, green and virgin white stimulate the eyes

As all things that live, so all things must die in their turn
rose petals shrivel and loose the lustre if red
succulent green leaves whither, turn brown and die
virgin petite gypsum wilts and becomes a dirty used white.

Water discolors to a slimy foul smelling green
the once beautiful is now the 'Dying Rose.'

When did it start to die?
When it was cut off from its source of life.
