Entreating the Wyrd
I know not where the Fates may lead me

As the Angel of Winter comes down to earth
fairy white dust from the enchanted lands
cascades over the lily white hills as snow
With a snowdrift of whitest hair

pristine and iridescent, sprinkled by magical hands
like an ice glazed crown upon a rose
With silvery white snow falling everywhere
I peek at the valley down below
where the beauty and magic of winter abounds...

But imagination can take you far
When into the mind idle fancies do enter
Of such a coy damsel from afar
You appeared to be a lady true
Delighting in my unearthly tales
And many were the secrets I gave to you
For promises of your love so frail
