Twisted Words

We use words to our advantage, you and me
Calling ourselves crazy and sane alternately.
If crazy means crazy as we define it, we are sane definitely
But if sane is sane as the world describes it, we'll be crazy happily!

My Heart Is Full Of A Song

My heart is full of a song
that neither breathes nor lets me
neither sleeps nor lets me.

My heart is full of a song
that neither settles down in dust
nor rises up in words.

My heart is full of a song
that stands at the threshold like a sulky child
refusing to go away or be lured inside.

My heart is full of a song
and I know not whether it is happy or sad
only that I have to sing it aloud.

I Refuse To Choose

It will forever be a tussle
between the city and the beach,
the bricks and the sand,
the morning rush and the quiet sunrise,
the evening outings and the colours of the setting sun,
the feel of a work well done and the freedom of nothingness.

It will forever be a tussle
but it will never be a choice,
because I refuse to choose!

So I'll live in the city
with waves rolling and humming beneath
the sturdy curtain of my thoughts,
Or I'll live on the beach
with the city's exultations lurking behind
the peace of aimlessness.
